Larry and I just got back from a long weekend away. I took him away for his birthday. This was the first time we left the kids on their own. I was nervous but they did great! Well, at least the house was still standing when we got home last night!
We saw all 7 of our grandchildren, met our new daughter-in-law Nicole, had lunch and dinner with some dear friends, went to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point and saw the sights in Salt Lake City. A funny story...... we used our frequent flyer mileage to pay for everything, the hotel, car and airline tickets. So because of that we could have any car we wanted. I thought it would be fun to rent a Hummer. Then I started to think that was a bit too ostentatious. So at the last minute we changed to a convertible. I thought that would be fun but not too overboard, you know what I mean? Well, imagine our shock, when at 11:30 p.m. we went to get our car and found this bright orange/yellow mustang convertible! LOL! We were too tired to change cars so off we went in this bright orange/yellow convertible! Boy did we get the looks. When we checked into our hotel in downtown Salt Lake I told my husband that everyone thought this young hip couple was going to get out of the car and instead they got an older man (Larry) and his trophy wife (me!) LOL!
Good news! UPS just delivered the new Tim Holtz / Ranger Crackle Paints. We'll get those on the site as soon as possible!
Have a great evening!
